Improved living standards of the women through CBOs of Maliba and Kitswamba

Women in the identified CBOs in the communities of Maliba and Kitswamba have improved their living standards through their supported initiatives identified by RIDE AFRICA. Following the previous basket making skills, the groups have managed to make profits which are borrowed by the women to pay school fees, other scholastic materials and provide a balanced diet for the children. In addition, the group was given skills of making art and craft wallets and table cloths. ‘ …….am happy that the skills provided to us have improved our living standards hence  preventing  violence against children and adolescents in Maliba sub county……….says Mary the chair person of Kakindo women group.
